What a fantastic way to come to the end of a fantastic year for us with a beautiful Old Billingsgate Wedding of Ed & Elizabeth. This amazing venue sits on the bank of the River Thames. Moments from Tower Bridge, this Victorian Grade II Listed building has been transformed from a world famous fish market into London’s premier event space.
I have been looking froward to this wedding for quite some time and the day started off at the stunning Shangri La Hotel at The Shard in central London, with the bride & groom getting ready there. After saying hello and taking a few images we popped across the Thames to Old Billingsgate to photograph some of the preparations from an amazing team at Just Seventy Ltd. With I have to say the most amazing Chuppah being erected by Just Seventy Ltd by the amazing London Florist Simon Lycett. After taking some detail images we headed off back to see the guys & girls which were now getting ready. We had a little time to do some shots using the backdrop of London and take the guys up to the pool area on the top floor of the Hotel!
The inside of Old Billingsgate looked simply devine and everyone involved had worked there socks off to achieve this amazing look. After pre-cermony rituals the bride & her father walked down the aisle to gasps from the crowd. Elizabeth looked stunning on her wedding day. Family & of course Ed waited patiently under the huge floral Chuppah to being proceedings.
After the ceremony which lasted about an hour we had some time to take family group shots whilst the guests enjoyed drinks & canopes with music being played during the drinks reception. After which everyone made there way through to the meal area and the wedding breakfast. You only have to look at the images to see how amazing this looked. Again Stas and his team from Just Seventy Ltd designed , produced and managed this event to a tee! With wonderful food from Tony Page Ltd , music & entertainment from ALR MUSIC the night was a huge success and I would like to thank everyone involved including the bride & groom and families for their wonderful hospitality.
This Old Billingsgate Wedding was a first for me at this venue and one I wont forget in a hurry! May there be many more! Here are a few images from the event:
