– John Steel, photographerI recently purchased this book and from the moment it arrived I have not been able to put it down. I like the layout, everything is very user friendly and in easy to follow small sections. This book tackles everything from planning, dealing with clients, briefs, technique, equipment and even some pro post-processing tips. It is a tool for the professional photographer to use, dip in and out of sections to find the info you need for your particular client. This is a no nonsense tell it how it is book, it is obvious that it is working professional photographers that have written this, it’s what you need to know! The pictures in the book are superb and do a great job of explaining the text (a picture paints a thousand words). I would recommend this to any professional photographer it’s not really geared to the novice. The only improvement that I would suggest is maybe some actual examples of brief forms and model releases. Overall a great book.
