We have been thinking of coming to Ireland with our photography training for some years now but after a recent shoot there myself the decision was made that 2017 was to be the year! Join us for a fabulous 2 days of training that will help you to take your wedding photography to another level of creativity & profit! We will have a base in Headford for the two days and be working around different locations such as a nearby church , Abbey & ruins! Its going to be an amazing 2 days of learning that you cannot be without!

Photography course snapshot
DAY 1- We will be meeting up at the local sports club in Moyne Villa FC, church road, Headford, to start off our first session. The day will start off at 9am for registration and hopefully look to kick off at 9.30. We will spend the morning over coffee & cookies looking at what makes my business work as we continue to push at the top of the Uk wedding market. We will look at imagery & talk about all aspects of the wedding day process including the business side of running a wedding business. After lunch we will head off to a local church with our bride & groom where we will look at all aspects of how to control this section of the day. Looking at lighting in a dark church to signing, working with manual exposure, OCF , couple shots, posing, using natural backgrounds for great effect and so much more! We will finish off at the club looking at some of the images and working through our photoshop techniques we use to get the most from our images.
DAY 2- We will meet up at the Sports Club again for a 9.30 briefing. Where we will after coffee ( very important! ) shoot some images using just speedlights around the club interior ( to show you what we can get with a regular surrounding! ) We will then head of to more luxurious locations such as Ross Abbey and The Ballycurran Lighthouse . Here we will look at how to create the dramatic shots that will make your wedding photography stand out from the others. Adding different lighting techniques to give the WOW factor to your clients.

Where do we meet?
We will be meeting at the Moyne Villa Football Club, Church Road, Headford at 9am on May 3rd - 2017 for coffee & registration.
What is included?
Tea & Coffee are included throughout the two days as are cookies and snacks! We will also provide a light lunch on each day of the training depending upon where we are at the time. We will be offering a get together on the first night of the course in a local restaurant - this is not mandatory and you will pay for your own meal. You will be expected to have your own means by which to travel around the various locations we will be shooting at. What we usually do is have 2 or 3 of us use our cars to help the others around , so not as to be driving in a convoy of 10 vehicles! Who is this course aimed at?
Our courses are open to anyone that wants to improve their own photographic technique. Brett teaches in such a way that he makes it easy to understand. So if you are a hobbiest or an advanced pro then you will learn something from Brett Harkness. If you are coming from Ireland then we are gathering at the Sports Club near Headford.
If you are coming from the UK then there are ferries from all UK ports to Dublin , a fast ferry takes around 2 1/2 hours whilst the slower ferry would take around 4 hours - it is then a 2 1/2 hour drive to Galway - you may want to get in touch with the other photographers coming and make arrangement to car share - we il put out the list of emails of those coming on the course so you can get to know each other! )
You can also fly into Dublin or Shannon airports ( which would then be a 2 1/2 hour or 1 hour drive respectively! )
In the event of cancellation of your place on the seminar please contact us by phone or email as soon as possible. The cost of the seminar is non refundable if cancelled within 2 months of the course date. The exception to this is if we have enough prior notice and are able to put a cancellation place back online AND your place is resold. Once we have resold your place we will be able to refund all monies paid to date for the specific seminar. We will do our very best to find another delegate to take your place through our Members List, and Social Network. You may be able to use the monies paid as payment or part payment towards future courses if places are available
